Description
This Shiraz fruit was sourced from selected old vines in the Western Hunter district. Grown in the red alluvial soil with prominent limestone which gives the defining characters for our classic Hunter Shiraz. Pronounced aromas of cherry ripe chocolate, blackberry, rhubarb and forest berries continue on the palate along with spices of vanilla and white pepper supported by silky, refined tannins. Enjoy with mature vintage cheddar, beef cheek and red wine jus. With suitable cellaring 7 - 10 years.
