The Petit Verdot was produced from our 2 acres of estate frown fruit at Capercaillie vineyard. This French variety is one of only a few small parcels grown in the hunter valley. Hand-picked on the 8th of March and matured in French oak barrels for 14 months. Displaying medicinal cherry. sarsaparilla and cherry cola on the nose. Unique aged honeycomb, hazelnut and candied raspberries dominate with silky, soft tannin on the finish. Enjoy now or carefully cellar for a short term.
