Description
Our Chambourcin was produced from estate grown fruit at Capercaillie vineyard. This niche variety is one of only a few small parcels grown in the Hunter Valley. Hand-picked on the 14th of February and fermented in French oak barrels for 14 months. An elegant but distinctive wines displaying stewed rhubarb, ripe beetroot and fennel on the nose. Vibrant colours of violet and crimson deliver sweet raspberries, chocolate and juicy acidity. Enjoy now or carefully cellar for a medium term.
